We believe in One God, who manifested Himself in three distinct persons, as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:26; 3:22; Matthew 28:19; John 14:26; John 1:1-3; 2 Corinthians 13:14). We recognize and emphasize the ministry of the Holy Spirit, ever present and active in the believer and in God’s church, without Him we cannot please God, live holy lives and be effective in the fulfillment of the Great Commission (John 14:15-18, 26; 16:7-8).
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious death and atonement through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His present priestly ministry (Romans 1:4; Matthew 1:18; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Matthew 4:23-24; Romans 3:25, 26; 1 John 1:7; Hebrews 7:25).
We believe the Bible to be the only inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God, and that it is authoritative in all matters of faith and conduct (2 Timothy 3:16-17). We believe that as Christians it is our duty and obligation to conform our lives to His Word and not to try to conform His Word to our limited understanding of His Will, emerging science, or evolving social mores. When we are conflicted, confused, or lack guidance in our decision making, we will revert to the Holy Scripture and pray for His Wisdom.
We believe Christian baptism, commanded by our Lord (Matthew 28:19), is a sacrament signifying acceptance of the benefits of the atonement of Jesus Christ, to be administered to believers through immersion, and declarative of their faith in Jesus Christ as the Messiah.
We believe baptism is a symbol of the new covenant by one who is of an age to make such a decision (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:37-38, 41). Young children shall be dedicated, upon request of parents or guardians, who shall give assurance for them of necessary Christian training (1 Samuel 1:27-28; Luke 2:22). Baptism may be administered by sprinkling, or pouring for the elderly and for physically disabled members who are unable to access the baptistery.
We believe in the sanctity of Holy Matrimony between one man and one woman for the promulgation of the Christian family (Genesis 2:24, Ephesians 6: 1-2). We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful Individual, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. We further believe in the keeping power of God (Hebrews 9:22; Jude 24-25; Titus 3:5).
We believe that divine healing is obtained on the basis of the Atonement (1 Peter 2:24; Matthew 8:17; James 5: 13-15). We believe in Christ’s imminent personal return in power and great glory, and in His present and everlasting dominion (Acts 1:11; Revelation 1:7; Daniel 7:14).
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: they that are saved unto eternal life and they that are lost unto eternal punishment (John 5:28-29; Revelation 20:15).
For those who accept these precepts, we welcome you, and if led, to become members of our church.
